At the heart of Fingerprint Learning is the Individual Learning
Profile [ILP] which identifies for an adult or child the unique
‘grain’ of his or her brain.

This profile allows us to identify
• how a person learns
• how to remove barriers to learning
and understanding.
• how to boost self-esteem and
academic performance
• causes of tension between teachers
and pupils and conflict between
family members

What is an Individual Learning Profile (ILP)?
Learning Profiles are individualised
summaries of how a specific individual
learns most effectively. A detailed
questionnaire is completed, after which
the ILP is drawn up. This gives an
individual analysis of the way in which an
adult or child learns best. An ILP can be
used by teachers - to teach more
effectively; by a student or pupil - to
learn and study more efficiently; by
parents - to understand how to help
their child succeed and be happy in
school.
